Would you like to know how these human towers that have been recognised as World Heritage are prepared? Would you like to see who these ordinary people capable of doing extraordinary things are? Would you like to find out for yourself what it means to be a human tower builder?
Now you have the chance to look inside the world of human towers together with their protagonists: the clubs open the doors of their headquarters to offer limited-admission guided visits to their rehearsals, an experience available nowhere else in the world.
Each visit includes watching an audiovisual, personal attention and explanations in Catalan, Spanish and English (check the availability of other languages in each club’s details), the opportunity to form part of the base of a human tower and light refreshments (drink plus aperitif). All is provided by the human tower builders themselves, who will tell you how the towers are built, as well as the values associated with this activity: teamwork, reward for effort, solidarity and amateurism.
Bear in mind that you are guests at a real rehearsal, so you are asked to show respect by interfering as little as possible with the activity. In this sense, we follow the UNESCO guidelines in terms of quality, sustainability and financial return for the protagonists of the activity, as with all the elements included in the Castells trademark.
You can check the availability of guided visits to rehearsals by date and town.
